V1.0 Spherical Plain Bearing Online Monitoring System Solution

The first-generation product of the spherical plain bearing inner-outer ring displacement online monitoring system detects whether bearings are experiencing jamming, seizure failures, or whether the two hoists of the support hinge are operating synchronously by measuring the displacement between the inner and outer rings and comparing this data with the gate opening value. Data is acquired through a terminal server, where it is calculated and analyzed. The results, along with maintenance recommendations, are then fed back to the hydropower station.

V2.0 Spherical Plain Bearing Digital System Solution

Building upon the first generation, this upgraded version adds a lifespan monitoring unit and a condition recognition monitoring unit, enabling real-time monitoring of bearing wear to assess its wear status. A sealing monitoring unit is also included to detect bearing seal failures and trigger water leakage alarms.

Application

The V1.0 Spherical Plain Bearing Online Monitoring System Solution has been implemented in a water control project in Guangxi since 2017.

The V2.0 Spherical Plain Bearing Digital System Solution is planned for project collaboration with Pillow Zhentouba Station and China Yangtze Power Co., Ltd.
