Developed from the patented technology A Variable Lubrication IntelligentThrust Bearing System, the solution has been progressively upgraded into a comprehensive shafting system for hydroelectric generating units. The system integrates a bearing data acquisition unit, a technical water supply monitoring unit, an oil condition monitoring unit, and an intelligent monitoring and diagnostics unit. It enables real-time measurement of multiple performance indicators and, through multi-source information fusion, supports full lifecycle management of hydroelectric unit shafting, further advancing the intelligence level of bearing systems in hydropower applications.

The research and application achievement titled "Intelligent Monitoring and Early Warning System for Lubrication Parameters of Hydroelectric Generator Unit Thrust Bearings," jointly completed by SHCM, Guoneng Dadu River Basin Hydropower Development Co., Ltd., and Guoneng Dadu River Maintenance and Installation Co., Ltd., has been evaluated by numerous industry experts. The appraisal concludes that the achievement reaches an internationally advanced level in its category, with certain aspects attaining international leading status.

          

Application

The SHCM Intelligent Bearing System for Hydropower has been successfully implemented in the following units:No. 2 and No. 7 units at Gongzui Hydropower Station, No. 1 unit at Hongjiadu Hydropower Station, No. 3 unit at Liujiaxia Hydropower Station, No. 4 unit at Laxiwa Hydropower Station
