Riga Hydropower Station, Latvia

The Riga project in Latvia represents the largest hydropower renovation contract secured by Alstom France in Europe. In a competitive bidding process against suppliers from the United Kingdom, Russia, and Japan, SHCM leveraged its robust technical capabilities and a strong track record of performance and product reputation within Alstom's global supply network. This resulted in SHCM winning the contract to supply thrust bearing pads for all six generating units of the Riga project.

Notably, the individual pad area for this project reaches 3,558 cm2, setting a new record for the largest single thrust pad area in SHCM's export projects.
