Xiluodu Hydropower Project

The Xiluodu Hydropower Station features a unit capacity of 770 MW and a total installed capacity of 13,860 MW, ranking as China's second and the world's third largest hydropower station in terms of total installed capacity. It has been honored with the FIDIC Award, often regarded as the "Nobel Prize" of the engineering industry.

In March 2014, the high-performance, environmentally friendly elastic metal-plastic bearing pad (Product Code: FZB3G), independently developed and manufactured by SHCM, was successfully commissioned in the hydroelectric generating units at Xiluodu Hydropower Station. This application represents the world's only deployment of plastic bearing pads in hydroelectric units of this maximum capacity. The product has maintained safe and reliable operation to date.
